ICMS Events Management students are involved in organising and managing a variety of events each term. Our students put many hours of organisation into these events in order to provide a professional and unique experience for every person attending.

Past events organised by ICMS students:

 Night Market
16 April  - Night Market & Karaoke: Casa Guatemale

A group of term five hospitality students held a fundraising event for Casa Guatemala.  This chairty assists in housing orphans and homeless families.  It also assists with providing children with an education and gives them access to medical services that they would otherwise go without. This event was be held on Friday 16 April, 2010 and consisted of a night market and Karaoke competition. 


WOW Factor 
6 April  - Wonderland WOW Factor

ICMS WOW Factor was here again and this time we are taking you for a a trip to Wonderland with the Mad Hatter as your host.
Guests enjoyed a complimentary drink on arrival, a wonderful three course meal in Wonderland and a night packed with student entertainment.

 

Golf
29 March  - Jesuit Mission Golf Day

Jesuit Mission is an organisation created to help build strong communities in developing countries. In order to raise money for the efforts of the organization, the Golf Day was created. This year marked the 15th Annual Jesuit Mission Golf Day, taking place at Pymble Golf Club on Monday, March 29, 2010.

The event consisted of a breakfast in the club, followed by a round of golf on the course with lunch packs served, concluded with dinner at the club.  Many sponsors have been involved in helping to make this event possible by donating prizes for contests that will occur throughout the day.  The goal of the event was to raise awareness of the work done by Jesuit Mission and raise money to help their cause.


 
16 November  - Suited for Work

A Their mission is to support women experiencing difficulties in achieving self-sufficiency and financial independence. The charity provides appropriate clothing and styling advice for women who need to dress formally for a range of situations such as re entering the work force, appearances in court, attending funerals, returning to the community after a period of imprisonment or a variety of other difficult situations.


Runway for cancer Research at ICMS
17 July - Runway for Cancer Research

Fashionista's take note. Enjoy a fashion parade by Wayne Cooper, drink on arrival and high tea while raising money for cancer research. Also included on the night will be a guest speaker, live band and a special door prize. A fashion parade auction and raffle will take place to raise further money on the night.


Audrey's Wish at ICMS
30 July - Audrey's Wish

Manly resident Audrey Myrden has recently been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme – a terminal brain tumour and is now undergoing aggressive radiation and chemotherapy for the ultimate battle of her life.
As a previous survivor of breast cancer, Audrey was ineligible for life insurance. Now, it is Audrey’s greatest wish is to ensure her boys are well provided for so that her husband Barry can continue to work and care for their three young boys. You can help us grant Audrey's wish by attending the upcoming Audrey’s Wish Golf Day and Fashion Parade Benefit.

7 August - Celebrity Chef

The Celebrity Chef’s Dinner has become a 'must attend' culinary event on the Northern Beaches.  This year, diners will be treated to an amazing three-course menu prepared by celebrated chef Pete Evans.
