Welcome to the December 2009 edition of the ICMS Alumni Newsletter – Shine.

Dear Alumni,

It is with great pleasure and anticipation that the ICMS Alumni Team is releasing the very first edition of SHINE – the ICMS Alumni Newsletter.

I am currently coordinating the Alumni Relations program and am working on many new and exciting features as well as updating the database, an integral part of alumni relations. The following newsletter will take you through some great stories of College staff you most likely remember (Tony Henry, Luigi Tassone) and the compelling story of Diana Verpe, a recent graduate.

There is so much happening in and around the College and so much to share with you, it would simply go beyond the scope of this newsletter to list all news. Hence, I have limited the following newsletter to the most exciting stories and reports. You will find many more in the media section and please feel free to look through the College blog.

As a graduate you remain an integral part of the ICMS community. The ICMS Alumni Relations program provides valuable networking opportunities, career development and a communication platform for you to stay in touch with ICMS and your fellow graduates. Your Alumni Team will be launching this platform within 2010 providing a new and stylish online portal with your own profile. Further networking opportunities will include social events and reunions around the globe to maintain and enhance long-term relationships.

To profit from all the new developments I would like to ask you to register register online if you haven’t already done so.

Please stay in touch with ICMS and don’t hesitate to talk to me and share your ideas, stories and suggestions and make this program your own. The Alumni Team and I are here for you and to make your alumni experience the best it can be.

Send me your stories of ICMS successes, achievements, love and babies so I can add you to our Alumni Family album. Shine will be published quarterly.

I want you to be a part of it.

Kind regards,

Andreas Rohner
Alumni Relations Coordinator
