It has been such a great week and I met so many new people, especially some I wouldn’t have had the chance to without this week. The staff and current students who were there all week, definitely made it an awesome week!

Going to a new school is always tough. You have to make new friends and first impressions are always difficult. I was nervous walking to dinner since I didn’t know anyone, and it seemed like everyone already knew each other.

By the end of my O-Week I knew I had made the right choice, ICMS was definitely the right place for me.

One of my favourites, was the Welcome Ceremony and Cocktail Evening. All new students and their families were invited to the chapel to celebrate the start of our university lives.

On the Wednesday night we run an Australia party which has a ranger come and display some of Australia's finest and most dangerous animals.

This week for myself was a really memorable experience, with plenty to do and so many nice and welcoming people to meet and get to know there really was no faulting ICMS’s welcome week – also know as O-Week.

My O Week Diary - Lina Caccamo

O Week consists of various seminars, social events, activities and compulsory agenda items like check-in and registration. At first I thought some of the events weren’t going to be fun, but I found that the team at ICMS made all of O Week an incredibly enjoyable experience.

My O Week Diary - Lisa Cunningham

I was so nervous, but moving on campus was so much fun.  I meet so many amazing people from Australia and all around the world.
