SRC

The SRC plays two important roles at ICMS:

  • The lighter, social side of the SRC has a critical role in the social life of the College. At ICMS, the SRC organises parties like Term 1 Icebreakers, end of term parties and regular Friday night get togethers.
  • The SRC also represents student views on academic issues to the College. This not only gives students the forum to air their views, but also gives the College valuable feedback when planning for the future.

Sporting Activities

At ICMS, we don’t expect you to spend your entire life with your head buried in a book! The College’s rich social and sporting life is there to be enjoyed. Activities include: Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Swimming, Table Tennis Soccer, Running club, Swimming club, Yoga and Zumba.

You can also take advantage of weekend trips to the snow fields and north coast. Day trips to the central coast to go whale watching, Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, beautiful Hunter Valley for a Wine tour.

Cultural Activities

The SRC holds themed events such as talent shows, karaoke, cocktail and movie nights. For the more classically minded, there are opportunities to attend concerts and plays in Sydney theatres, open-air venues and even the Sydney Opera House. This term you can attend Mary Poppins, Hairspray or a Heritage Cultural Tour.

Community Contribution Scheme

The Community Contribution Scheme has been developed to encourage and acknowledge voluntary participation within the College and local community. The scheme acknowledges voluntary contribution by students on their academic transcripts at the end of each term.
