Student Services

Personal Support

The transition to full time tertiary study can be challenging. If you find it all a bit daunting, our advice is “don’t let it get to you”. Speak up and ask for help from one of our student services staff who are available to help you with any personal or academic issues that may arise.

Academic Support

The Academic Support Centre is open from Monday to Friday every week of term, and provides opportunities to develop your academic skills and prepare you for the cultural change to tertiary student life.

The Academic Support Centre provides advice on:

  • Effective study techniques
  • Note-taking skills
  • Exam techniques
  • Time and stress management
  • Academic writing
  • Oral presentations
  • English tuition

Residential Peer Support

The College appoints a number of students each year to the role of Resident Assistant (RA) or Graduate Assistant (GA). Our RAs and GAs are trained to provide helpful advice to students about ICMS, Manly or Sydney.
