The Business Preparation Program (BPP) and the Business Preparation Program Plus are academic and English preparation programs offering alternative pathways for international students wishing to enter the International College of Management, Sydney. English AssessmentThe ICMS English language requirements can be downloaded here. Students also have the option of taking an English test which are held on site at ICMS prior to each intake. Please register for your English Assessment here If you do not meet the English requirements for entry into ICMS programs you could consider completing the ICMS Business Preparation Program or Business Preparation Program Plus. ICMS has a number of partner English Colleges. Successful completion of EAP programs (English for Academic Purposes) at these partner institutions gain students direct entry into ICMS undergraduate programs. Who is eligible for the BPP?The BPP is available for students whose IELTS score is 0.5 band below the required entry level for an ICMS undergraduate program. Please refer to the English Language Proficiency Requirement Who is eligible for the BPP Plus?The BPP Plus is available for students whose IELTS score is 1.0 band below the required entry level for an ICMS undergraduate program. Please refer to the English Language Proficiency Requirement What is the difference between the BPP and the BPP Plus?In addition to your English language study, the BPP program includes one full subject from your diploma or associate degree program. Successful completion of this subject entitles you to a reduction of $2,137.00 in tuition fees in the following term. Please note: The BPP Plus does not include one subject. The entry level for the BPP is IELTS 5.0; the entry level for the BPP Plus is IELTS 4.5. Why choose the BPP or BPP Plus at ICMS?Taught on the ICMS campus with full access to all facilities, these programs are designed for students who meet the academic requirements for undergraduate entry but require, or would like, additional English language proficiency before starting undergraduate study. Successful students receive direct entry to undergraduate programs and develop the essay and report writing, presentation and critical thinking skills in English critical for success in undergraduate study. In addition, classes are restricted to a maximum of 18 students, ensuring a high level of individual support and assistance throughout the program. |
