The Bassment

The Common Room, or Bassment, as it is now known, hosts major college parties such as Auction and karaoke.

The Bassment is a fantastic area for students to meet, unwind and relax. On Thursday nights the doors open at 7.00 PM, offering students to chance to relax and unwind with cocktails at a discounted price. The room is open for leisure and games until 10:30PM daily and features Foxtel service. 
    
On Friday nights from 7:00PM to 10:30PM, the Common Room transforms into disco/nightclub venue serving beer and soft drinks, complete with a D.J. services to entertain students with their favourite music.  In addition, the bar managers put on a variety of themed events throughout the term. The Bassmentis staffed by volunteers and all profits are managed by the Student Representative Council (SRC) to directly benefit the ICMS student body.  The SRC coordinates a variety of parties for the student body throughout the term, thse include fancy dress, balls and charity events.
