Hey, my name is Ashley Medway. I am currently in my 8th term, and have been involved as a Class Representative since my 2nd term here at ICMS. I am proud of the of the achievements that this body has accomplished in the past, and look forward to hopefully contributing further this term as the Business Management Class Representative, having previously looked after the Sport program.

Class Representatives play an important role in College life, helping to rise and address academic concerns raised by students with respective Heads of School and/or Academic Liaison Officers, whether they are about computers, attendance or course content.

With any academic concern or issue, it is important that one: Class Reps are open and available to help; and two; that concerns raised are actually fixed. I believe I can help in this.

Don't hesitate to contact your Class Rep if you have an idea or issue that you want sounded out.

If I were to attain the position of Class Representative for Hospitality Management students, it would allow me the opportunity to draw upon my skills of decision-making, leadership and communication. Thus, I would be more than able to assess academic issues arisen from discussion with my peers and bring these points of concern to meetings with Faculty and Academic Liaison Officers in order to implement strategies to assess issues of concern from my respective student body.

I would like to nominate myself as a Class Representative for Hospitality Program, because I believe it is a great learning experience and a good way to meet people. I was involved in the program previously, and I found I have received valuable knowledge and developed great communication skills. Therefore, I wish to further carry on the responsibilities and together with the class representative team, improve the college.

I am 3rd term hospitality student and I am motivated to take as many opportunities that are available at ICMS to learn and contribute to the collage, and especially the hospitality department as this is my passion. To be able to be a part of solving different academic issues that will come across during the term will be a good experience for me to have before I take my career to the next step.

My personality could be an asset as a student representative as I care about current issues and interested in assisting my fellow students with improving their learning and general time at ICMS.
Some of my strengths are that I am hard working, punctual and a positive person, which I think I would be an ideal candidate.

I believe I am ideal for the responsibility of class representative as I am a mature, responsible and focussed student. I have experience in the sporting industry and in management and enjoy leading a group. I feel that my fellow students often look to me for advice, respect me as their peer and feel comfortable to approach me with questions or to share ideas. I can communicate professionally with both my peers, lecturers and colleagues.

I would love the opportunity to become more involved in the ICMS student body and I look forward to hearing from you.
