Taking a semester to study abroad gives you the opportunity to experience life and study in another country first hand.  While living abroad you will gain new perspectives about other cultures and enrich your education in new and exciting ways.  This experience extends well beyond the classroom and will be an invaluable component of your education. 

Hospitality and tourism students may apply for a semester abroad at César Ritz College during their studies at ICMS.  With campuses in both Lake Geneva and Brig, Switzerland, César Ritz remains one of the most respected providers of international hospitality education, offering an equivalent curriculum to that offered at ICMS.

Teaching at César Ritz is in English. Semester abroad study times are available for term two or term five of the Associate Degree.  Units of study must be approved by ICMS in advance and credit is awarded upon successful completion of all approved units. 

How to Apply 

Application process 

Complete the application form and include the following documents:

•  Curriculum Vitae (Resume)
• Two passport photos
• 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
• My future in the international hotel & tourism industry             
• How Swiss education will enhance my future prospects

You will receive a Provisional Letter of Acceptance from the Admissions Office requesting payment of the Operating Account of CHF 3,000 to Cesar Ritz within 30 days.  

Upon receipt of the payment you will receive a Letter of Acceptance in order to apply for your student visa.
