• Allows you to take more third year specialisation options
• Allows you to complete a ‘capstone’ – applied research – project in your final term.

Third year study pattern

Term 7

• 300 level major*
• Business Ethics
• Business Finance I
• Strategic Marketing Management

Term 8

• 300 level major (or 200 / 300 level elective if major unit completed previously)
• Research Methods
• Business Statistics
• 200 or 300 level elective

Term 9

Specialty Management Project

• Business Forecasting
• Strategic Management
• 200 or 300 level elective

Gaining entry into third year of the ICMS degree requires a CGPA of 2.5 OR demonstrated ability in your specialisation such as excellence in industry training, proven commitment to the College or performance in specific subjects.

*Each unit of study has a designated level. In general the level indicates the amount of prior knowledge required to successfully study the unit.

• 100 level units may be studied in the first two terms of study and often do not have any pre-requisite units.
• 200 level units may have 100 level units as pre-requisites.
• 300 level units may have 200 level units as pre-requisites.
