Planning your time

One of the most important skills you will learn throughout your course is how to manage time.  Most students find that time management is a skill gained outside of the classroom.

Organisation is a hands-on vital workplace skill.  This may involve compiling lists, making mistakes, prioritising, declining social engagements for study and coping with unexpected disruptions to your daily routine.  These skills are critical to your academic success and also represent the qualities of future managers, entrepreneurs and team players.

The ICMS weekly study timetable template and term assessment planner is designed to assist you to successfully plan your studies and is available for students to download.

The documents below can assist you to:

  • Write in all your assignments, quizzes, oral presentations (one subject per planner);
  • Prepare for all assignments, quizzes, practical assessments and exams; and
  • Keep the study timetable for your final exam revision preparation.
