Program Manager (Business and Management)

The International College of Management Sydney is seeking a Program Manager (Business and Management).

  • CBD Campus with occasional attendance in Manly
  • Full-time fixed term contract for 3 years
  • Launching and direct new postgraduate offerings
  • $110,000 to $125,000 per annum (depending on qualification assessment and experience)

The Academic Operations Department is responsible for academic leadership of lecturers within the Business and Management Discipline; student success and supporting faculty with the management of institutional operations.

About this role

The Program Manager Business and Management manages the current portfolio of Postgraduate Business and Management programs.

This role is vital in launching and directing new postgraduate offerings; ensuring all aspects including quality assurance; teaching effectiveness according to ICMS postgraduate learning & teaching design; and leading of teaching staff are accomplished.

The Program Manager Business and Management provides academic leadership in the area of Business and Management and offers support to faculty and students in the area of learning and teaching related to student outcomes, program delivery and effectiveness. The Program Manager works cooperatively with a range of people across different locations and modes to implement faculty policies, procedures and guidelines concerning teaching and learning.  The Program Manager is a key point of contact between students and Faculty concerning program issues.

About you

You will have an academic background in the field of Business (Business Administration) and the ability to consider various stakeholder needs and can project manage critical aspects throughout the inception process for a new

program and manage existing programs.   You will have the following attributes:

  • A PhD in a Business discipline (Business Administration / Business Management / Business related field)
  • Significant experience in teaching a diverse range of students
  • Industry experience and engagement with the professions
  • Experience in academic management and administration duties in a tertiary setting
  • Leadership experience in higher education
  • Sound interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in working in a team-based environment
  • Membership of relevant business professional association (highly valued but not essential
