The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) warmly invites interested members of our Northern Beaches community to join us for morning tea to celebrate the 130-year anniversary of Manly’s iconic higher education campus building.
Learn about the history of the ‘castle on the hill’, explore the peaceful grounds, take in the views and discover how today’s students feel about their beautiful campus.
Guest speaker and Seminary alumnus Thomas Keneally AO, award-winning Australian novelist, will share historical insights and his own recollections of life as a student at Manly’s landmark campus.
Thomas Keneally AO
Thomas Keneally AO is one of Australia's most popular and prolific writers, having published more than 30 novels, dramas, screenplays and books of non-fiction. He is also one of its most distinguished, winning numerous prizes including the Booker for Schindler's Ark, later made into an Academy Award winning film.
With his passion for history, Thomas, a Seminary alumnus and Manly local, will talk about the history of Moran House, the notable characters who shaped its foundation and how this historic campus has evolved from Australia’s first National Seminary to the International College of Management, Sydney since 1996.
