Manly, a Beautiful Place to Study

Manly, a Beautiful Place to Study

If you’re going to study, you might as well make the experience a beautiful one!

ICMS has two campuses in Sydney – one by the beach in Manly; and the other in the heart of the city.

The ICMS Northern Beaches Campus – ‘Castle Campus’ – is in the beachside suburb of Manly. As soon as you arrive you will know that you have come to one of the most spectacular campuses in the world. Ocean panorama, parklands, and the cityscape are all part of the view from the commanding sandstone building that is home to ICMS. Alternatively, students may wish to study at the convenient and central City Campus, in the heart of Sydney.

At the “Castle Campus’, more formally known as the Northern Beaches campus, the heritage building once housed St Patrick’s Seminary. When you walk through the high-ceiling corridors you will know that you are on the grounds of something special.

This  is an ideal environment for the ultimate student experience. In addition to the classrooms and lecture theatres where you will gain your formal education, you have access to outdoor study areas in tranquil gardens and a comprehensive library which includes rooms for group study and meetings. You have access to facilities on campus include computer laboratories, tennis and basketball courts, café, bar and restaurant. Free wireless internet is available throughout the buildings of ICMS including classrooms and accommodation.

Often the site of high profile weddings and film making, members of the public are often drawn to our campus. The best way to experience our campus is to book a campus tour with us to see why ICMS is such a beautiful place to learn.

Unique Student Experience

ICMS is not just a college, it is a community enriched with unique student experience. With around 2000 students, our student population is smaller than other higher education institutions. This gives our students a unique learning experience enriched with personalised learning.

Our staff and students are connected in a way that just wouldn’t be possible in a large higher education institution. We want you to succeed. In our Student Success Centre, you will receive academic support from our learning advisors. The student volunteers in our Peer Assisted Learning Service are also there to help you to succeed academically.

Enriched Student Experience

Like any good community, we also care about your emotional wellbeing. If you find yourself feeling a little overwhelmed or just need some personal support, we have a Wellness Team who can assist you.

Sometimes the best way to balance a busy study schedule is just to get out and have some fun. With students coming to ICMS from all over Australia and the world, we make sure that there are plenty of parties, events and adventures to include in your social calendar. You can also get involved in student-led Clubs and Associations and sporting teams. Our dedicated Student Experience team works with the Student Representative Council to organise activities in Manly, Sydney CBD, and beyond.
