What happens on graduation day?

On Graduation day, there will be a number of steps you will need to take to ensure you are all set up ready for the day ahead:

1.Check-in:

First of all, you will need to follow the signs to the registration table and check-in; this way we will know that you have arrived and that your spot can be reserved in the Chapel for the graduation ceremony. Please note that registration will strictly close 1 hour before the commencement of the formal graduation ceremony, students arriving after registration has already closed, will not be able to register, so please make sure you are on time;

2.Gowning:

Once you have registered, you will be directed to the Academic Regalia Center where you will receive your Academic Gown, the formal dress you will be wearing for the graduation proceedings.

3.Relax:

Depending on what time you have arrived, you may have enough time to relax, grab a coffee, snap some pictures or check out the merchandise table;

4.Enter the Chapel:

45 minutes before the commencement of the formal graduation ceremony, all guests and students will be asked to make their way to the Chapel to be seated;

5.Graduation briefing:

15 minutes before the commencement of the formal graduation ceremony, a graduation briefing will take place where you will learn what to do during the ceremony, and how to flow accordingly with other graduands.
