Surfers from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) made waves at the recent Australia University Games, claiming gold in the longboarding category for the third year in a row and ending the competition ranked third in Australia for surfing as a whole.

The Australia University Games, held on the Gold Coast in Queensland from 24 – 29 September, attracted 9000 student athletes from around the country, representing 42 universities in 33 sporting codes.

In the Men’s Longboard category, three of the four finalists were ICMS students. Riley Cadman won gold, Rohan Fell won silver, and Tom Bennett placed fourth. Bennett has won this division twice before, and this year won the Best and Fairest medal. Isabella Pickering placed fourth in the Woman’s Longboard category.

The surfers took gold in the Tag Team Competition, the men took silver overall, and the team together won the bronze medal.

ICMS congratulates the students on their excellent showing both individually and as a team.
