| Business | Course title is generic in business or related discipline, such as Commerce. Business Management will be accepted as cognate, however management alone will not. |
| Property | Course title contains Property, or a Property context, such as Property Economics, as either a "Name" or a "Major". Minor studies will not be considered cognate. |
| Entrepreneurship | Course title contains Entrepreneurship, as either a "Name" or a "Major". Minor studies will not be considered cognate. |
| Marketing | Course title contains Marketing as either a "Name" or Major". Minor studies will not be considered cognate. |
| Accounting | Course title contains Accounting as either a "Name" or a "Major". The cognate course, if Australian, should have CPA or CAA recognition. Minor studies will not be considered cognate. |
