Alex’s experience in the hospitality industry spans three decades in the areas of kitchen management, food and beverage, and housekeeping. As a young apprentice Alex gained his formal chef qualification at Adelaide’s world-acclaimed Regency College achieving the highest college accolade of ‘most outstanding student’ in his final year of study. Alex then competed in many culinary competitions at a national level achieving outstanding results, notably the ‘Golden Chefs Hat’. His experience working in five-star hotels and fine dining restaurants throughout Australia and in London includes stints at The Regent Hotel Melbourne and Thomas Goodes Mayfair London. At ICMS, Alex has taught hospitality subjects for more than 10 years and is the Food and Beverage Lecturer in our Grand Dining Room. He is motivated to deliver a hospitality program at ICMS that is exciting, current and practical for today’s graduates to be successful in the global hospitality industry.
