Deirdre Anderson is on the Academic Board at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) and is Director of the Transition Institute (PTI). This organisation is for high performance athletes and business professionals who want to remain at the cutting edge. Deirdre is an outstanding leader, project manager and change agent, and has worked with a variety of organisations and individuals to transform their culture and behaviours.
Deirdre has held many Senior leadership roles within the private sector, Federal and Local government and has held Executive positions both at an international and national level within elite sport.
She is acknowledged worldwide for her contribution to elite athletes, and has a lifelong commitment to supporting the development of young people. She is recipient of a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow for her international service, a recipient of the Princeton International Business Leaders award, recipient of the Eunice Gill Coach Education award, an honorary member of the Golden Keys International Honour Society and a Justice of the Peace.
Deirdre has co-authored of several books and is published extensively in the areas of athlete transition.
Founder of Hope Africa, Deirdre is also a passionate philanthropist.
