Chris has 30+ years in the sport and recreation sector working across multiple areas including direct delivery, facility management, events management, national participation and high performance management.
With a Bachelor of Leisure Studies, Master of Applied Science (Parks and Recreation) and Master of Business Administration, Chris also has over 25 years of lecturing in various institutions and for the last 2+ years as a sport and property lecturer with ICMS.
More recently Chris has studied in the world of mindset, life and career coaching and has a passionate interest in how individuals can manage their own change and challenges, the means for overcoming these and how coaching can facilitate change and growth.
A keen amateur athlete, Chris played rugby league growing up, rowed surfboats, competed in triathlon and cycling events and to this day, cycles everyday. Keep an eye out for him climbing up Darley Road!
Chris has a keen interest in using his sporting, facilities management and coaching experience to support students in preparing for work placements and employability.
