Dr Emma Wong is Associate Dean (Scholarship and Civic Leadership) at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).

After a short stint in the hotel industry overseas, Dr Wong was offered a scholarship to pursue a Master of Philosophy degree at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University studying tourism destination competitiveness. This marks the beginning of her academic career.

Dr Wong has taught in universities in the UK, Germany, mainland China, Hong Kong and Australia. Prior to joining ICMS, she was an Associate Professor of Tourism and Program Director at Torrens University.

Dr Wong holds a PhD in Tourism and Marketing from UNSW, a Master of Tertiary Education Management from University of Melbourne, a Master of Philosophy in Tourism Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education from Victoria University, and Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Hotel and Catering Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
