Subject Aim:

The overall aim of the subject is to provide you with the skills and techniques of the research process in both academic and managerial contexts. This aim will be achieved through: – Formulation, planning and execution of a research proposal pertinent to research question of an organisational or industry problem – Critical analysis in reviewing appropriate scholarly literature

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understand the basic frameworks and theories that underpin research in business.
  2. Evaluate specific problems and questions to solve applied research scenarios.
  3. Select, evaluate and critique relevant literature within your research domain.
  4. Understand and evaluate various data collection methods of quantitative and qualitative research.
  5. Create a research proposal for a research project in a major discipline.
