ICMS is committed to ensuring equal access to learning for all our students.
We aim to provide an environment in which students with a disability will be able to participate fully in all that life at ICMS has to offer and to facilitate flexible procedures for reasonable adjustments required by students with a disability, with a particular focus on their access to the teaching and learning environment. In fact, at ICMS we have a dedicated Student Disability Support Officer who facilitates flexible procedures for reasonable adjustments.
For those with mobility difficulties we’ve ensured that the physical environment of buildings, facilities and grounds are accessible where reasonably possible.
Of course, when you apply we’ll ensure that all information on medical or professional documentation will be treated as strictly confidential and only disclosed with your permission.
The institution is committed to its obligations outlined in the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) and the Disability Standards for Education 2005.
