Subject Aim:

The aim of this subject is to further develop students understanding of financial accounting skills to include knowledge of more advanced financial accounting concepts. Students will learn, and apply particular transactions and arrangements, business combinations, international accounting transactions and financial reporting. It introduces students to the relevant Australian Accounting and International Accounting Standards. The subject expands on financial accounting’s theoretical base and provides meaningful, practical applications to business scenarios in an aligned industry real world, learning experience. Students will utilize current industry accounting programs including the cloud based zero software.
