The ICMS Leadership Entry Program is an Alternate Entry Pathway for domestic (Australian or NZ) students intending to commence their degree studies at ICMS in February 2025.
ICMS understands the value of leadership and we believe it should be rewarded. Our Leadership Entry Program offers students who have demonstrated significant leadership in their school and/or community, a guaranteed place at ICMS based on their academic achievement, leadership experience and aspirations, and a nomination from their school. Eligibility
Applicants for the Leadership Entry Program must be completing Year 12 and are either a School Captain/Vice-Captain, Prefect or Student Representative Council President/Vice President or member, or have demonstrated leadership through their involvement with community organisations and clubs.
If you believe you do not meet the criteria for Leadership Entry Program, you may be eligible for the Elite Athlete/Performer Pathway Program. Alternatively, make a Direct Application.
Criteria for Admission
Once you have applied, an ICMS representative will contact you to request and discuss the following documentation:
1) A personal statement: Please submit a 1,000 word statement outlining:
- Why you want a career in your chosen course.
- Any extracurricular activities you have been involved in.
- What work or other experience you may have had that make you suitable for this course.
- Anything additional that makes you an outstanding applicant for one of our courses.
- Read ‘How to Write a Great Personal Statement‘
2) Letter of Recommendation Submit a letter of recommendation supporting your motivation, character, academic potential, and leadership role within the school.
The recommendation can be written by your Year 12 advisor, Dean of Studies, Career Advisor or similar.
3) Year 11 results
4) Year 12 Semester 1 results or Trial HSC results
