Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches Scholarship

The International College of Management, Sydney has partnered with Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches to award an ICMS Bachelor of Business, Business (Sports Management) or Event Management students a unique scholarship.

Each year the Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches Scholarship is awarded to a student who displays enthusiasm and motivation for the sporting and/or events industry and whose aptitude, academic results and previous work experience fit with the sponsor’s Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches business goals.

Value

The Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches scholarship awards a tuition waiver valued at UP TO $10,000 plus an internship with Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches with an amount of $300 paid each week to the successful candidate during the internship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Business, Business (Sports Management) or Event Management
  • Students who are completing or who have completed the prerequisites for industry training. Note: the placement included in this scholarship contributes to your industry training.

  • Academic record
  • You must demonstrate consistency in academic and professional performance and overall contribution to ICMS. Work experience in an area of relevance is preferred

Undergrad – Current Student International and Domestic

  • Step 1: Download the application kit
  • Step 2: Complete your application form
  • Step 3: Submit your application by 5pm on Friday 13 August 2021 (commencing in the September study period)*. Your application should be addressed to the ICMS Scholarship Board and supporting documents must be attached
  • Step 4: Interview with the ICMS Scholarship Board (finalists only)

*Note: the placement at Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches may commence earlier than the September study period.
