ICMS is proud to celebrate the success of alumnus Daniel Worsley, who has been appointed Vice President, Hotel Operations at Atlantis The Royal, one of the world’s most iconic ultra-luxury destinations in Dubai.

Daniel, a 2008 ICMS graduate, has built an impressive career in luxury hospitality, with over 20 years of experience.

His journey began with hands-on roles in front office, concierge, housekeeping, and night management, providing him with a strong foundation in hotel operations.

He credits ICMS for giving him the skills and industry connections that helped launch his career.

“ICMS was instrumental in getting my first step in the industry door,” Daniel shared in a previous interview.

“If it wasn’t for ICMS, I wouldn’t have been able to secure my industry training job at Four Seasons Hotel with such relative ease.

“That experience set the tone for my career.”

A Rapid Rise in Hospitality

Daniel’s career trajectory has been remarkable.

Starting in Australia, he quickly rose through leadership roles, including Night Manager and Executive Assistant Manager, where he played a key role in securing a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for one of Australia’s top resorts.

In 2019, he joined Atlantis, The Palm, where he consistently delivered record-breaking results and elevated service standards.

Daniel’s appointment as Vice President, Hotel Operations at Atlantis The Royal has been widely recognised in the hospitality industry.

His achievement has been featured in several leading publications, including Hotelier Middle East and HospitalityNet, highlighting the significance of his role at one of the world’s most prestigious ultra-luxury destinations.
