ICMS Industry Training is a “foot in the door” at Sheargold for Property student, Bradley Logozzo.

International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment and Valuation) student Bradley Logozzo reckons the industry training he completed as part of his degree gave him a “foot in the door” within the industry in which he hopes to forge a career.

Logozzo is currently working as an Assistant Property Manager at Sheargold Property Investments. The industry training is part of ICMS’ leading Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program which sees students gain practical experience through internships as part of their degree.

“The industry training aspect of the degree was a massive driving factor in my decision to choose to study at ICMS,” Bradley Logozzo, who graduates in 2022, said. “This industry training at Sheargold Property Investments has helped me get a foot in the door within the property industry and has been a great start to my career.

Working at Sheargold Property Investments has enriched Bradley’s learning experience

”Sheargold Property Investments has grown since 1963 to become a property development company to be reckoned with. The company has expanded into several large housing subdivisions, apartment buildings and shopping centres, and by the late 1980s Sheargold was investing and managing industrial, commercial and residential property whilst still undertaking major residential development projects stretching along the NSW coastline from Nowra in the south to Taree in the north.

“The property industry isn’t just about buying and selling houses, there’s a lot more that goes on behind the scenes to help drive the property industry forward,” Logozzo said.

“No matter your role in the industry, people are always willing to share their advice and experience with you. Nearing the end of his ICMS degree, Logozzo reflected on what prospective students can expect when studying at ICMS, located in Northern Beaches, Sydney, NSW, and in the city of Sydney. “Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. The lecturers are here to help you achieve your goals and are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that you succeed,” he said. He has enjoyed “being able to meet new people who share the same interests as me and being able to share our ideas and knowledge with each other”.

ICMS offers the Bachelor of Property

The Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment and Valuation) offers opportunities to pursue a career in the property sector without limiting your employability to one specialised area of the property profession. The focus of the degree on three key, interrelated areas of the property profession differentiates it from other property courses and provides you with flexibility and choice in your future career.

Things move quickly in property and you will need the knowledge and skills to make big decisions and anticipate trends in the property market. The Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment and Valuation) has been designed by property industry professionals, respected staff and industry partners and is continually reviewed and refined so that it continues to meet the demands of this dynamic industry.

This degree focuses on three key areas of the Property Industry:

  • Development
  • Investment
  • Valuation

Rather than focus on one specialised discipline area, this degree provides a broader scope of property professional skills, so that you can move into your chosen area of interest when you graduate.
