Janene Wardrop

Janene Wardrop has worked in the events industry for over 15 years, gaining valuable experience in corporate, association, and agency settings. Her practical knowledge not only helps her teach effectively but also benefits her students.

Janene stays actively involved in the industry, which allows her to connect with influential figures, bring in guest speakers, organise interesting and industry-relevant field trips, and keep up with the latest trends. This dedication ensures that her students at ICMS get practical insights that enhance their learning experience.

Throughout her career, Janene has held key roles like Event Manager for the NSW Australian Medical Association and Manager of Events for the College of Law.

Before joining ICMS, she was the Director of Events and Community Engagement at Torrens University Australia, managing events across Australia and New Zealand.

As the current NSW Chair of Meetings & Events AUST (MEA), Janene remains dedicated to shaping the events industry, driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals in the field.
