Martyna Sommer

Martyna Sommer works in Student Services at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).

Martyna brings a lot to the table in her role at ICMS Student Services because of her varied work experience.

She first ran an online store before joining ICMS. In 2019, she founded an online shop selling stationery and between 2014 and 2021, she worked as a land surveying technician. Running an online store taught her about what customers want, how to market products, and how to handle day-to-day business challenges. These skills can help improve how students are supported and satisfied.

Starting an online store displayed her creative and entrepreneurial side, showing she can develop new student programs and ideas successfully.

Her time as a land surveying technician highlighted her ability to analyse data, pay close attention to details, and solve problems. These skills can be useful for tackling complex student issues and improving processes in Student Services.
