EVT101B

Event success is grounded in the development of strong concepts and creative design that respond to client objectives, audience needs, and contextual constraints. As the events industry continues to evolve, event concepts are increasingly shaped by technological innovation, inclusive design principles, and heightened expectations around experience quality and impact.

This subject introduces students to the foundations of event concept development and design within professional event contexts. Students explore how event ideas are generated, shaped, and communicated in response to client briefs, considering creativity, feasibility, inclusivity, and contemporary design practices. The subject also introduces the role of digital tools and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in supporting creative ideation and design processes.
