About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Event Assistant/Coordinator to join our team. If you’re someone who thrives on creating seamless delegate experiences and enjoys working in the fast-paced world of event management, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Start Date: 1 May 2025
Pay: $25 – $31 per hour

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delegate experience from start to finish, including building conference registration pages and overseeing accommodation bookings.
  • Use the EventsAir software to handle registrations and provide exceptional customer service to all delegates.
  • Attend conferences on-site to oversee operations at the registration desk.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Warm, outgoing personality with a focus on customer service and exceptional people skills.
  • Experience with EventsAir is highly desirable.

Additional Information

  • Work Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends (compensated by Time Off in Lieu).
  • Laptop and workspace provided.
  • Opportunities for paid travel to national and international destinations.

LEGACY ANZAC DAWN SERVICE

Date: Friday, 25 April 2025
Location: Sydney CBD

Support Legacy this ANZAC Day by volunteering your time to honor Australian service members and their families. Legacy is a charity dedicated to providing services to families impacted by the incapacitation or death of a parent or spouse serving in the defence force.

Volunteer Role

Assist with the distribution of rosemary at Sydney CBD streets and metro train stations to commemorate the day.

Meeting Location:
Level 8, 35 Clarence Street, Sydney (near Wynyard station, opposite St. Philip’s Church and Jamison Street).

Shift Times

  • 3.30 am – 7.00 am (pick up rosemary trays and assist)
  • 7.00 am – 11.00 am

Any time you can contribute during these shifts is greatly appreciated.

What’s Provided

  • Food and refreshments.

Skills Required

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
