Disruptive digital technology is reshaping almost every industry and managers already understand the urgency for transformation.

This subject is an applied study of the use of digital technology to solve business problems and exploit new business opportunities. Students explore the theory and practice of digital transformation of organisations and industries from the drivers of digital disruption such as the Internet of Things (IoT), through how people, organisations, and society respond to rapid change and new technologies. The models for leaders and managers that support good transformation practice and the structures and approaches that underpin successful digital transformations are examined.

Finally, this subject also deals with the threat of cybercrime and how business should prepare for managing this risk.
