A head start for career-minded students
Early Entry is an Alternate Entry Pathway designed for high-achieving HSC students who want to secure a place at ICMS in February 2024, before sitting their final exams.
If you don’t believe that Early Entry is the right Alternate Entry Pathway for you, consider applying for the Elite Athlete/Performer Pathway Program or the Leadership Entry Program. Alternatively, make a Direct Application.
To Apply For Early Entry
Step 1:
Applications open 1 April 2023.
Step 2:
Supporting documentation
Your ICMS Student Advisor will contact you to request the following documentation;
1) Your personal statement:
Please submit a 1,000 word statement outlining:
- Why you want a career in your chosen course.
- Any extracurricular activities you have been involved in.
- What work or other experience you may have had that make you suitable for this course.
- Anything additional that makes you an outstanding applicant for one of our courses.
- For tips read ‘How to Write a Great Personal Statement’
2) Letter of recommendation from your Year 12 advisor, Principal, Dean of Studies, Career Advisor or similar. (Letter of Recommendation Template)
3) Year 11 results
4) Year 12 Semester 1 results or Trial HSC results.

Step 3:
Interviews will take place for Early Entry applicants in September.
Step 4:
Outcome
You will be advised of the outcome of your application and if successful will receive an early entry place to the relevant ICMS Bachelor degree before you sit your HSC exams.
