ICMS Country Education Foundation (CEF) Scholarship

ICMS has partnered with Country Education Foundation over many years to support hard working rural students achieve their education and career goals through scholarships.

Country Education Foundation (CEF) is a national not-for-profit organisation helping rural and regional youth access education, training and jobs through grants, scholarships, support services and resources.

The ICMS CEF Scholarship is awarded to the student based on the selection process implemented by the ICMS Scholarship Board.

Value 

This scholarship awards a tuition waiver valued at $5,000 plus an accommodation waiver of $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be eligible for a CEF grant.
  • Must have a demonstrated financial need.
  • Must be aged 16-25 years.
  • Must have attended school in or currently live in the region covered by your local CEF.
  • Must be are able to demonstrate commitment to achieving your goal.

Application Criteria

  • Signed and completed scholarship application form.
  • Most recent school academic transcript, including awards and/or certificates.
  • Stage 1: Referral from your school principal, career advisor or teacher (the referral form is within the scholarship application form).
  • Stage 2: Report.
  • ICMS Letter of Offer received by the Admissions Department.
  • Headshot photograph (a school picture is acceptable).
  • Any additional documents that may supplement the application (i.e. work and/or personal references).
