Dior/LVMH Fashion Partnership with ICMS Reaches 53 Student Placements and Counting

August 14, 2025

For students dreaming of a career in the luxury sector, ICMS has proven itself for turning ambitions into realities, with 53 students having secured placements with Dior, including 15 at Christian Dior and 38 at LVMH Parfums Dior, over the past five years.

Combining academic excellence with practical industry exposure, ICMS’ Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program is about doing as much as it is about teaching.

And when “doing” translates into professional placements at iconic brands like Christian Dior and LVMH Parfums Dior, it’s clear that ICMS is offering something extraordinary.

A Personal Approach to Big Opportunities

What makes ICMS stand out is its ability to combine global connections with a personal touch.

It’s big enough to open doors to some of the world’s most prestigious organisations, but small enough to ensure every student gets the support they need to succeed.

At Christian Dior, students like Myah Elatta (Merchandising Intern) and Sarah Jill Conrad (PR Intern) are gaining hands-on experience in roles that matter.

Over at LVMH Parfums Dior, students like Hoang Khanh Ngoc Tran and Janna Sophia Abuid Paderanga are working in areas like visual merchandising and sales.

These placements are opportunities to build skills and make connections that last.

From Intern to Professional: Julie Williams

For example, Julie Williams, former ICMS student and past SRC President, is one of the many success stories.

While a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Christian Dior Couture, Julie gained invaluable experience that’s already shaping her future.

Reflecting on her time at Dior, she shared: “This internship provides me with the ability to add experience to my resume that other students wouldn’t have had.

“On my first day at Dior, I got to do a fitting with Simon Baker (who acted in The Devil Wears Prada).

“It was an incredible opportunity to meet him and work with his team for the day.

“Having this internship on my CV gives me an advantage to get in there quicker and sooner because I have more experience than other candidates and I also have a degree on my side.”

From Intern to Professional: Isabel Jung

Isabel Jung’s story is another great example of what’s possible.

Starting as an intern at Parfums Christian Dior through ICMS, she’s now a Visual Merchandising Executive.

“I chose ICMS because of the professional placement program. I knew I wanted to work in the luxury sector, and gaining experience was the key,” Isabel said.

“Four years later, I’m still with Dior.”

Today, Isabel mentors ICMS students, helping them take their first steps in the industry. Her journey shows the full-circle impact of ICMS’ Work Integrated Learning program.

LVMH Masterclass: Crafting Careers in Luxury

As well as connecting students with placements, ICMS also brings the industry to them.

Last year, ICMS hosted an exclusive LVMH masterclass, Crafting Careers in Luxury Retail.

Featuring insights from four industry experts, the event gave students a behind-the-scenes look at the luxury retail industry and advice on building successful careers with one of the world’s most iconic luxury groups.

Events like this, including site visits and industry immersion, highlight ICMS’ commitment to providing students with direct access to industry leaders and opportunities to learn from the best.

Why ICMS?

ICMS prepares students for personal and professional success.

The WIL program ensures students graduate with more than just knowledge; they leave with experience, confidence, and a network of industry contacts.

For those looking to build a career in the luxury sector, or any competitive field, ICMS offers a clear path forward.
