ICMS Professional Scholarships are now open for 2022 applications

The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) continues to acknowledge that this period has been increasingly challenging for schools and for students in New South Wales (NSW) completing their final school year. We extend our hopes that normality will resume soon.

ICMS awarded almost $2mil worth of scholarships to over 130 recipients during the pandemic in 2020 and over 100 scholarships so far this year. ICMS – located in Northern Beaches, Sydney, NSW – awards more scholarships per capita of student cohort than most other providers nationally.

The ICMS Professional Scholarship Program, for new undergraduate Domestic students, is driven by: Rewarding excellence, recognising talent, leadership contributions and achievement. It embraces diversity, providing access to higher education for those in hardship, the disadvantaged and for first nations students.

Many other scholarships are offered too, for students in other categories such as International students and Current students.

Students choose ICMS because of the career focussed education, the quality teaching and learning experience, the community campus experience, small class sizes, and the global cohort and its inherent network opportunities.

The industry training differentiates ICMS students from other graduates entering the job market.

With over a thousand industry partners, compulsory internships allow students to experience their studies as practitioners, widen their professional network, build their resume, and impress future employers while they are still studying.

ICMS alumni continue to enjoy a graduate employment rate that tops those of Australia’s best ranked universities, with approximately 90% of students employed before they graduate.

We recognise the importance of making career focussed tertiary education accessible for rural students and our goal is to support them to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

Applications Now Open for February 2022!

Under the ICMS Professional Scholarships Program, applicants will be considered for the ICMS Professional Scholarships, the ANZ Scholarship, the Wotif Scholarship and the Alceon Scholarship. ICMS will match the candidates to the most appropriate scholarship from their application form. Students are welcome to note or refer to a particular scholarship within their application if they wish.

Professional Scholarships Overview

ICMS Professional Scholarships are awarded to successful applicants each February. Recently the program has grown and over a dozen scholarships are likely to be awarded in the start of 2022. Some scholarships are endorsed by a corporate partner – which is of enormous value to a recipient’s future career. All scholarships cover tuition fees for study and/or accommodation. Tuition fees can be up to AU$50,000. Half scholarships, other partial scholarships and accommodation scholarships may also be awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Board’s selection. The value of all ICMS Professional Scholarships awarded will be advised to the scholarship winner at the time of being selected.

ANZ Scholarship

ICMS has partnered with ANZ Bank to present this unique scholarship opportunity for students commencing the Bachelor of Business or a Bachelor of Business Management (Accounting) in 2022 with consideration given to students studying other ICMS degrees. The successful recipient will receive a tuition waiver to the value of $10,000* and a 12-14 week full-time paid work placement within the ANZ organisation. The experience and exposure to the world of corporate banking will be of unequivocal value on the recipient’s CV and potentially open doors not imagined.

Applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Board, consisting of a representative of ANZ Corporate Bank, an ICMS Academic representative as well as the Chair of ICMS Professional Scholarships.

Alceon Scholarship

ICMS has partnered with Alceon to present this unique scholarship opportunity for students commencing the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment and Valuation) in 2022 with consideration given to students studying other ICMS degrees. The successful recipient will be awarded a tuition to value of $20,000 ($10,000 each year for their first 2 years of study) and includes work placement within the Alceon organisation or an affiliated property organisation. The experience and exposure to the world of corporate banking will be of unequivocal value on the recipients CV and potentially open doors not imagined.

Applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Board, consisting of a representative of Alceon, an ICMS Academic representative as well as the Chair of ICMS Professional Scholarships.

Wotif.com Scholarship

ICMS has partnered with Wotif.com to present this unique scholarship opportunity for students commencing the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business  (Entrepreneurship), Bachelor of Business (Marketing), or Bachelor of Business (International Tourism) in 2022 with consideration given to students studying other ICMS degrees.

The successful recipient/s will receive a tuition and/or accommodation waiver valued at up to $30,000 (this credit will be applied over the first 2 years of study at ICMS) and may include work placement within Wotif Group. Applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Board, consisting of a representative of Wotif.com, an ICMS Academic representative as well as the Chair of ICMS Professional Scholarships.
