Manly Beach, a stone’s throw from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) campus, has been named as the best beach in Australia by TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award – twice – in 2018 and again in 2019.
Manly nudged Surfers Paradise in Queensland into second place this year, with the next NSW beach on the list being Bondi Beach at fifth. The ratings are determined by travellers’ votes on the Trip Advisor website. The top spot claimed this year is up from last year’s position as fourth best beach in country.
“It’s remarkable that the beach our ICMS students overlook while attending lectures has been recognised by Trip Advisor as the best beach in Australia,” ICMS CEO Dr Dominic Szambowski said.
“What a fantastic bonus for our students, and we are pleased that our excellent geographical location adds to the all-round student experience we offer here at ICMS.”
Currently, over 6200 ratings on the world renowned travel website give Manly Beach a 4.5 out of 5 rating, with reviews hailing the natural beauty of the beach, the presence of lifeguards, the quality of the waves and the charm of the waterfront.
ICMS is located in the castle on a hill overlooking Manly Beach in Northern Beaches Council, NSW. The beach lifestyle has long been listed as a pull factor to students wishing to further their education at one of Australia’s leading higher education institutions.
