Program Manager (Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation)

FHEA, MSc, BA (Hons)

Daria Samatoina is the Program Manager (Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation) at ICMS.

She has spent almost a decade teaching and lecturing in higher education, primarily across UK universities. Before joining ICMS, Daria worked at the University of Greenwich, where she taught across business and entrepreneurship subjects and worked extensively on curriculum development. This included redesigning and redeveloping entrepreneurship programs, modules and assessments to create more engaging, applied learning experiences for students.

She also developed co-curricular projects that brought students into live entrepreneurship ecosystems beyond the classroom, supporting student engagement while helping them build confidence, professional skills, and stronger industry connections.

Daria’s PhD focused on crisis management and decision-making in small and medium enterprises, exploring how business owners navigated uncertainty during the COVID-19 crisis. This continues to underpin her approach to entrepreneurship education.

Her practice has always been driven by a belief that entrepreneurship education should be rigorous, applied, and genuinely transformative.
