With a distinguished career spanning leadership positions across academia, business, and the public sector, Dr Stephanie Fahey brings a wealth of experience to her role as a member of the ICMS Board.
Dr Fahey has achieved a PhD from the Australian National University and a BA (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
From 2017 to 2020, Dr. Fahey served as the Chief Executive Officer of Austrade, where she led the Australian Government agency’s efforts in promoting trade, investment, international education, and tourism policy.
Prior to this, she held key roles such as EY’s lead strategy partner for education in the Oceania region, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement) at Monash University, and Director of the University of Sydney’s Research Institute for Asia and the Pacific.
Her academic career started at Victoria University in Melbourne, laying the groundwork for her multifaceted expertise.
