Melissa Roughley

Melissa is an Educational Technology Designer within the Learning, Teaching and Innovation team at ICMS. She holds a Master of Higher Education (Learning and Teaching) from Macquarie University and brings extensive experience in learning design, educational technology, curriculum enhancement, and academic capability development.

In her role, Melissa collaborates with academic and professional staff to create engaging, technology-enhanced learning experiences that support student success and engagement. She provides guidance on curriculum design, digital learning environments, assessment practices, and the effective use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in higher education.

Melissa also supports professional development initiatives that help educators build confidence in contemporary teaching practices, learning technologies, assessment design, and digital pedagogy. Passionate about innovation and student-centred learning, she is committed to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning and supporting ICMS in delivering high-quality, career-focused education.
