Note: This subject is approved equivalent in content, assessments and learning outcomes to EVT203B Event Design and Execution. This arrangement applies to the nested Diploma qualifications of these courses also.
Subject Rationale:
The subject focuses on building the practical skills in event production. Students learn how to produce an event based on an event plan and/or a real client brief.
This subject gives students the opportunity to work on their chosen event designs and bring the plans into production.
Learning Outcomes:
a) Interpret an event design brief
b) Use an event plan to produce an event
c) Produce an event considering practical issues
d) Apply current regulations to event production
e) Prepare a post-event evaluation for future improvement
