A head start for career-minded students
Early Entry is an Alternate Entry Pathway designed for high-achieving HSC students who want to secure a place at ICMS before sitting their final exams.
You must meet the following criteria:
- intend to start in February 2025
- seeking an Early Offer (prior to final exams)
- are currently in your final year of school
- are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

If you don’t believe that Early Entry is the right Alternate Entry Pathway for you, consider applying for the Elite Athlete/Performer Pathway Program or the Leadership Entry Program. Alternatively, make a Direct Application.
To Apply For Early Entry
Step 1:
Applications will reopen in April 2025 for study commencing in February 2026.
Step 2:
Supporting documentation
Your ICMS Student Advisor will contact you to request the following documentation;
1) Personal Statement
Write a 1,000-word statement outlining:
- why you have applied to ICMS,
- how your chosen course will help you achieve your career goals,
- any work or volunteer experience, or extra-curricular activities that support your application,
- your achievements,
- anything else that makes you an outstanding applicant.

2) Academic Results
- Year 11 Academic Results
- Year 12 Semester 1 Results OR Trial HSC Result
3) Identification
- Copy of your passport or birth certificate
4) Letter of Recommendation from Career Advisor, Principal or Year Coordinator
- We will request this directly from your school

Step 3:
5) Interviews will take place during September 2024.
Step 4:
You will be advised of the outcome of your application and if successful will receive an early entry place to the relevant ICMS Bachelor degree before you sit your HSC exams.
