ICMS Hospitality Lecturer Interviewed for Magazine

March 15, 2021

Popular ICMS Hospitality and Tourism management lecturer, Nassima Kennedy, was interviewed recently on current hospitality industry trends.

Ms Kennedy has been sharing her extensive knowledge with students at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) since 2014, delivering Hospitality and Tourism subjects, having transitioned from Learning and Development roles in the Hospitality industry to academia.

In her time at ICMS Ms Kennedy has nominated and has had four of her students win the Minister’s Student Achiever Award for Hospitality run by Destination NSW, – with all students, including Emily Walsh in 2019, crediting their lecturer for their success.

The article was published in the Restaurant and Catering Magazine, and has been kindly shared with permission here. The piece by John Burfitt explains that with 2021 running at full steam, there is good news for those in the restaurant sector, but there are some warnings as well. Here are their predications for those in the business – and their tips for tweaks that could make the difference to those “catering to the middle market”

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management, created in partnership with the César Ritz Switzerland, offers students the ability to study key business subjects with specialised hospitality subjects in which Ms Kennedy teaches, some of these specialisations include:

  • Bar and Mixology
  • Food and Beverage Service
  • Gastronomy
