Hospitality Career Success Package

“We conceived this program as a means of sparking domestic student interest into the exciting and dynamic world of Tourism & Hospitality; to simultaneously relieve the burden of financial pressures for young adults in the middle of the current cost of living environment whilst increasing the access to tertiary education for regional and disadvantaged students,” ICMS Domestic Development Co-ordinator Liam Robson said.

“The initiative aims to provide domestic students with a ‘career success package’ inclusive of the essential soft skills and micro-credentials fundamental when initially stepping into the hospitality industry.

“These skills, combined with industry experience from the beginning of their degree, will increase their overall employability throughout and upon completion of their degree, building upon their connections and network throughout the industry and setting them up for personal success within their professional lives.

“I couldn’t be happier to announce The Boat House Group as our first Stepping Stones partner and look forward to working alongside them in the development of our new students.”

When asked about their involvement, Boat House Events Group Manager – Julia Saunders said: “The Boathouse Group is proud to be partnering with The International College of Management, Sydney, to participate in the Stepping Stones initiative. We hope to inspire their students embarking on their hospitality career with practical industry experience in our beautiful waterside settings in Sydney.”
