Marcela Hertnekyova

Marcela started her career as Senior Financial Adviser within a major banking group in Europe. After moving to Australia, completing Master of Accounting and professional CPA qualification, she spent several years in the financial services and accounting field, working for large corporates such as JPMorgan Chase, Australian Aerospace, Woolworth Limited.

Marcela has over 10 years of academic and leadership experience in both vocational and higher education sector in Australia. She has progressed her career being lecturer, senior lecturer, program director and dean, the most recently focusing on course development and accreditation.

Marcela’s qualifications include a Master of Accounting, Master of Finance, Banking and Investments, Bachelor of Finance, Banking and Investments, Graduate Diploma in Education, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certified Gallup Strength Coach.

She also is a member of The Certified Public Accountant with CPA Australia, The Institute of Management Accountants and The Project Management Institute
