Industry Training, Your Placement

Student Jobs Board

Your professional placement, or internship, will be part of your degree. All ICMS Bachelor degrees and Master’s degrees offer two trimesters of  professional placement. These are recognised Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects which result in academic credit when completed successfully.

Professional placements are usually organised by the ICMS WIL team, in consultation with you the student. As well as giving you valuable work experience, contacts and exposure to your preferred industry, professional placements can also be an opportunity to travel. Your professional placement could be interstate – or even overseas!

ICMS have an impressive network of industry partners. These leading companies provide invaluable industry insight and experience to help shape your qualifications and ensure they align with industry best practice.
