Sports and Recreation

At ICMS we work hard and play hard too! Sport is a great way not just to keep fit but to make friends and make the most of your time at ICMS.

As well as fun on-campus activities we also have sporting teams representing ICMS in internal and external tournaments – so there’s something for everyone!

On-Campus Activities

Here on-campus, we run several sporting competitions and clubs in a social and fun environment for students of any skill level to participate in. These sports run on a weekly basis or may be played as a single gala day throughout the trimester!

Nearby Activities

ICMS’ Manly Campus is surrounded by some of Australia’s most beautiful walks, beaches, and views which are used for several activities.

External Competitions*

Sign-ups for external competitions take place at the beginning of each sporting season. All information regarding the commencement of competitions is sent via student email and posted around campus.
*Competing in external competitions is subject to student interest & numbers.

UniSport

ICMS students have the opportunity to participate in UniSport’s various Inter Varsity competitions throughout the year, as well as the annual UniNationals competition in September. UniSport brings together teams from Universities across Australia to compete in a variety of sports including athletics, basketball, football (soccer), rugby, netball, tennis, and many others.

UniNationals is a multi-sport event held over several days in September with competitions taking place in different venues within the host city. These events cater to a diverse range of sports and skill levels, allowing students to engage in their favourite sports and represent their universities on a competitive stage.

Previously, ICMS has sent students for a range of sports and have been quite successful in surfing, basketball, rugby, tennis, and more.
